I forgot to schedule a newborn session: is it too late?

It's never too late to have your baby photographed. Sleeping baby photos are never guaranteed, but I can usually pose babies under 2 weeks in the womb position. Most newborns are scheduled anywhere from 5-14 days after birth. The timeframe varies based on baby weight and development. As a newborn grows, their bones harden and they uncurl and stretch out more. I do believe babies can be photographed successfully at any age.

When should I schedule my newborn photo session?

Most moms schedule their newborn session in their 8th or 9th month. If you schedule your session in advance, we ask that you let us know within 24-48 hours of having the baby so we can make date adjustments, if necessary.

Where will my baby be photographed?

The choice is yours. Newborns can be photographed in my home studio or in your home.

How long does a newborn session last?

A newborn session usually takes about 2-3 hours.
